I am a descendant of Enos Ludden and Sarah Thayer. You have them in your tree on Ancestry. The parents you have for Sarah [ Richard Thayer and Susanna Wild] are also in many other trees as her parents. The Thayer Family Association Historian has different parents. I have seen at least 3 different sets of parents for her. Two sets have strong cases made by others that she is not their daughter. There were at least 3 Sarah Thayers born about the same time in the areas around Weymouth and Braintree, MA. The parents listed by the historian are the most difficult to prove or eliminate as the claimed father was married multiple times and moved several times too. When he died he left a younger wife and children with debts. So his probated estate left no assests to be given any of his many grown children nor are they listed. It seems pity was shown to his surviving wife and young children when he did in Maine. I can not prove Sarah was his daughter by an earlier wife. He was also a veteran of the American Revolution but I can not find anything in records to halp clear this up or connect Sarah to him. I am wondering how you connect to Enos and Sarah Thayer Ludden?
