He resided on Middle St. near his father, but removed to Randolph before 1771. His will dated Sep.30,1799 mentions his four sons Micah, "Elex", Ezra, & "Alphes" to have all the real estate, daughters Mehitable Tower, Zerviah Faxon, Mary Pain, Lucy French, Daniel French's three sons who were children of my daughter deceased, and my wife to have what she brought at marriage. Son Ezra was executor. The inventory included 40 acres, house and barn at Randolph

Micah Thayer and wife joined the Randolph Church 1771.
He was elected surveyor of highways 1758,1764,1783, constable 1781 for Middle Precinct but was excused.
