are records that are headed for our shop but are still in the preparation process.

Record Condition Ratings
The records in our shop are from an audiophile's collection and well taken care of. Most have been played only a small number of times on quality turntables. The record was transcribed to tape and the tape used for listening purposes. Except for the initial audition and taping the record remained on the shelf unless a new tape was needed.
- SS: Still Sealed: The record is still encased in the original shrink wrap and is unplayed and in new condition.
- Mint: The record is not sealed but is unplayed, in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
- Mint - : The record has been played a limited number of time (under 10), with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Records in this condition will have a documented play count in the description.
- Excellent: These records have been played only a limited number of time, but we didn't document the play count. We are certain it's under 10. The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
- Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
- Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
- Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
- There are a couple of lower ratings, Poor & Bad) but we would never sell an album rated that low.
