Mrs. Henry P. Barbehenn dies at 8:15 Wednesday evening at her home onNorth Stratton Street, aged 78 years, 7 months, and 5 days. Mrs.Barbehenn's maiden name was Mary Ann Bortner. She was a native ofCodorus Township, York County, but had been a resident of Gettysburgfor fifty-one years. Had she lived until December, the fiftiethanniversary of her marriage to Mr. Barbehenn would have beencelebrated. She was a member of the Lutheran church for sixty-oneyears. Mrs. Barbehenn leaves her husband eight children, LewisBarbehenn, of Brodbecks, York County, George W. Barbehenn, ofPainsville Ohio, Henry W. Barbehenn a proof reader with ScribnersPublishing Company, New York; Nathaniel Barbehenn, in the GovernmentService, Philadelphia; Sister Mary J. B. Barbehenn deaconess in MaryJ. Drexel Home, Philadelphia; Mrs. Annie Musser of Gettysburg; MissKatie Barbehenn, and Edward Barbehenn at home. She also leavesnineteen grandchildren. Funeral will be held Saturday morning ateleven o'clock from her late home conducted by the Rev. Joseph B.Baker. The internment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery.

The funeral services for Mrs. Henry P. Barbehenn were held at her lateresidence on North Stratton Street at 11 o'clock this morning. Theservices were conducted by Rev. J.B. Baker, who took as his textIsaiah 66-13, as one whom his mother comfortieth, so will I comfortyou. Frank Rudisill, Jacob Rudisill, Miss Pauline Rudisill and MissMary Rudisill sang "Nearer my God to Thee" and "Face to Face." Thepallbearers were Prof. Karl Grimm, W.H. Sharetta, Duffield Ridinger,Herman Mertz, Henry Kalbt Leish, and J.A. Lentz. The floral offeringswere beautiful including several from the deaconess of the Mary J.Drexel Home, Philadelphia. The internment was in the EvergreenCemetery.

They had 7 children and some of thier descendants live in Illinois
