OLIVER SHAW made his will 26 May, 1864, proved 16 Sept. 1865. Therein he refers to his first wife, now dead, and his; children by her, his present wife, his three daughters and eldest son Nathaniel T. Shaw; no other heirs named. He died at Weymouth, 27 July, 1865, leaving a widow, Eliza Shaw, and the following children, viz., Na-thaniel T. Shaw, Oliver B. Shaw, George W. Shaw, Benjamin T. Shaw, Henry J. Shaw, John Shaw arid Eliza Lane, wife of J. L. Lane; also the children of Lydia Richards, deceased, viz., Belinda, Augusta, Ellen and Elbridge, grandchildren, and the children of Alm;= Thom~q, viz., Nathaniel, Leonard and Andrew, also grandchildren. (16476.)

He resided in the South Parish.
Benjamin Tirrell, Jr,, of Weymouth was appointed guardian unto Emla Shaw, Samuel Shaw and Minot Shaw, over 14, children of David Shaw, late of Weymouth, deceased, 5 Feb. 1820. Martin, Achsah and Harriet Shaw, under 14, had same guardian on same day. (Nor-folk Probate, 16440.)
Division of his estate, 22 June, 1836, mentions widow Tirzah Shaw, David Shaw, Brula Shaw, Minot Shaw, Samuel Shaw, Martin Shaw, Tirzah Tirrell, wife of Benjamin, Jr,, Harriet Torrey, wife of William A., and Alvan Bates and Charles 1, Bates, grandchildren. (Norfolk Probate, 16436.) The probate paper of Tirzah Shaw states that she left eight children. (Ibid, 16484.)

Harold Shaw served in the Mexican Punitive Expedition with the U.S. Calvary from 1915 - 1917.
Served in the Minnesota Army National Guard 1922 - 23. He also served in the U.S. Navy as a
Chief Petty Officer in the SEA-Bees during WW II. He was a self employed business man operating
H. A. Shaw & Sons Heating and Sheet Metal from 1945 - 1959.
