Suffolk Probate records (36:151 New Series) show that Mary Hayden, widow, was made administrator of Caleb Hayden, husbandman, late of Braintree, deceased, and was bonded with Samuel Niles Esq. of Braintree and Thomas Handysiyde Peck of Boston, feltmaker, Mar.9, 1759, witnesses: John Payne & John Cotton.

He was elected tithingman 1783. Removed to Chelmsford says Thayer Memorial. Resided in the Hayward place east side of Fort Hill St.
